So here I am, with the passion to help you sell your home, I’m Michelle, and I have lived in the Manawatu all my life. I’ve been riding horses all my life also, while living in Friendly Feilding, we had to graze our ponies at different locations as our back lawn couldn’t possibly look after a small pony! In my early teens, finally-after years of nagging Mum, we moved onto a lifestyle block in Bunnythorpe! At last, freedom to play with horses any time, I could go from sitting on the couch watching TV and fifteen minutes later I would be riding around the paddock, outside the kitchen window!
After leaving school I pursued a career in the banking industry where I worked for The National Bank of New Zealand in Wellington, and this is where I realized my passion for helping customers achieve their goals. For a little over 18 months I worked in the call centre, I loved the customer focused role, but I wanted more! I had learnt everything the position could teach me, so I ventured back to Palmerston North for full time face to face banking employment. I was employed by The TSB Bank on a causal contract, and with no full time banking positions coming up, my banking career looked rather bleak.
I started searching Seek for different jobs, thinking about what else I may be good at that would give me the same enjoyment and satisfaction as helping banking customers find solutions and needs, then I came across the job advertisement for a Agent at Watson! I completed my REAL ITO studies while being in the environment of the busy Watson sales office and I come into the industry with a wealth of knowledge behind me.
