Multiple Award Winning Real Estate Watson Property
6 Major Awards In National Competition
With the real estate market in New Zealand showing positive signs of strengthening, the celebrations were doubly sweet for Watson Property when they took out 3 first place and 3 runner-up awards at the Real Estate Industry of New Zealand Property Management Awards. Their Real Estate Palmerston North and Feilding agencies beat much larger agencies in an unprecedented level of achievement.
The awards are the pinnacle of success for the real estate industry in New Zealand and are hotly contested. The judging system ensures the results are completely without bias, as the judges reviewing the award submissions act anonymously and completely independent of each other. A wide range of criteria are assessed which cover the quality of customer service, level of expertise, ethical and professional standards through to innovation in property management.
This broad spread of criteria allows the recognition of the achievements of behind-the-scenes people in the real estate industry, whose “quiet achiever” competencies provide the support for the people on the front line – the sales and property management staff. This opportunity for recognition came to Watson Property staff members Justine Hurley, who won the REINZ Residential Property Management Support Staff Member of the Year and property manager David Stockley, from the Feilding office, as the runner-up.
Watson Property staff member Jodi-Anne Taiapa won REINZ Residential Property
Management Rookie of the Year, and her colleague, Rebecca Lui, was runner-up. Jenny Parry was runner-up in the REINZ Residential Property Manager of the Year category.
The awards were presented at the prestigious annual REINZ Gala Awards Dinner and the apex of the night for Watson Property was the awarding of the top gong – REINZ Residential Property Management Agency of the Year. This was an extraordinary achievement for this agency, and unprecedented in the history of these particular awards.
Many in the industry are now asking what it is about Watson Property and the way they operate that brings out the best in their staff and particularly newcomers to the industry, for them to take out 5 individual awards out of 16 finalists.
“How do they do it? It’s a tough industry at the best of times. If they have a secret, I wish they’d share it with the rest of us,” said a bemused rival property manager.
Watson Property was established in 1996, and is a wholly family owned business with agencies at Palmerston North and Feilding. Over the past 7 years they have concentrated on improving their property management business by applying quality improvement practices and focusing on creating a total client experience for people who deal with their agencies.
“I’ve had other agencies manage my rental properties in the past, but the staff at Feilding are the most professional I have encountered,” said a client when asked about her experience with property managers.
Watson Property are so sure of their client service experience process that they offer a guarantee that after three months, if the client isn’t satisfied with the way their property has been managed, the contract will be cancelled and all management fees paid refunded in full. For anyone with property Palmerston North and Feilding way, this guarantee is a major incentive to try Watson Property http://www.watsonproperty.co.nz/. Perhaps this is the secret that others envy – putting the needs of the client first.
