Personal Profile:

I started real estate in January 2007. Part of what attracted me to embark on a career in real estate was the variety of work involved, flexibility and career potential. Being married and with 2 beautiful boys, real estate allows me to schedule my own work time and spend time with my family, which is very important to me. I was born and raised in Palmerston North and have spent most of my life living in the Manawatu. We moved to Feilding from Palmerston North in 2005 mainly because a good friend of mine was living here and after searching for houses in both Palmerston North and Feilding my husband and I felt we would get "more bang for our buck" in Feilding and we were right! Since moving to Feilding I have fallen in love with the town! Being passionate about your job and the town you represent is very important, as I deal with a lot of customers who are thinking of making the big move to Feilding, and I often find myself ‘selling' Feilding as well as the houses! And believe me it is not a hard job to do as Feilding is such a wonderful and thriving town.

Real estate is a very rewarding job and you have to work hard at it, and continue to do so. Since starting real estate I have experienced many "ups and downs' in the real estate market and I have been successful due to my determination to succeed. I am extremely motivated and focused to providing both my clients and customers with the best possible customer service. Many of my new clients are referrals from my past clients and that is extremely rewarding for me as it proves that my clients were and still are happy with the way I handled their buying/selling process. In real estate you deal with a variety of people from different backgrounds and that certainly makes the job very interesting! No two days are the same!

My experience in Human resource management and owning our own transport company has given me the knowledge/understanding and customer service skills required to be successful in real estate. In both October 2009 and November 2009 I received First National Group chairman's awards for being one of First National's outstanding performers in the Real Estate Marketplace. In May this year at a First National Conference in Wellington I won an Emerald High Achievers award for outstanding Listing, Selling and Marketing in the 2009/2010 marketplace. I also received a First National award for 10th top sales consultant in our region. Being in a recessionary period I was very proud to receive the awards. My aim is to make the buying/selling process as stress free as possible and to have a win/win situation for both parties whilst providing exceptional customer service.
